Basketball Recap: Oak Hills Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Oak Hills had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 36-27 victory over the Walnut Hills Eagles on Wednesday. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Jonovan Herzog was Oak Hills' leading scorer, having posted five points. Deairris Foster took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Oak Hills and Walnut Hills will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Highlanders are set to square off against their familiar foe Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Walnut Hills will face off against rival Little Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
