You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Enterprise's strategy against Smiths Station on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wildcats blew the Panthers out of the water with a 38-0 final score. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Enterprise's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Burkhardt, who threw for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. What's more, Burkhardt racked up 130.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jyrell Reese, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only six carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Enterprise's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Walker Turner, Gavin Whiteside, and Corey Means, who each picked up one sack apiece. Enterprise got some further help from Turner: he picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.

Enterprise now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Smiths Station, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coming up, Enterprise will challenge Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups. Smiths Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
