Basketball Recap: Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS vs. Burlingame Panthers
Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 62-50 to the Burlingame Panthers. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS were down 50-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Leading Burlingame to victory were Lucca Maher and David Parrot. Maher went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks, while Parrot dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Maher a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Marcus Tapia, who posted 11 points.
Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Burlingame, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
