After losing to Fayette County the last time they met, Hamilton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Aggies narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tigers 4-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Aggies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jackson Chandler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Houston Tibbs, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Fayette County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 17-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will welcome Sulligent at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayette County, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Brookwood at 4:30 p.m.
