Doniphan-Trumbull was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up 19 kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her 21 assists. Richter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Baylee Larson, each putting up three.

Doniphan-Trumbull is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
