Curtis Baptist had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Maci Butler did her part to make it nine on Friday. The Crusaders blew past the Ridge Christian Academy Paladins, posting a 50-12 win with plenty of help from Butler, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Curtis Baptist's points.

Kimora Thomas was another key player, putting up seven points along with 14 boards and three steals. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Curtis Baptist now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ridge Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
