Softball Game Preview: Annandale Atoms vs. Falls Church Jaguars

The Annandale Atoms will take on the Falls Church Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Annandale is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Annandale came into this matchup off a tough 13-run loss two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Mount Vernon by a score of 10-8 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Falls Church came up short against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology on Tuesday and fell 7-4.

Annandale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Falls Church, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Annandale beat Falls Church 11-7 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Atoms repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
