Basketball Recap: Ogden Tigers vs. South Summit Wildcats

It was a proper cat-fight when Ogden took on South Summit on Thursday. The Ogden Tigers took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Summit Wildcats. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

South Summit was led to victory by Emma Broadbent and Mariah Bowen. Broadbent dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 boards, while Bowen posted 18 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. Broadbent has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more boards the last 37 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Clegg, who had seven points and five rebounds.

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for South Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
