Basketball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

Gilbert lost against North Polk back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers received a blow as they fell 60-44 to the Comets.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for North Polk, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gilbert will challenge rival Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Polk is set to face off against their familiar foe Ballard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
