Football Game Preview: Camas Papermakers vs. Skyline Spartans + How To Watch

Camas is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Skyline is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Papermakers will host the Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Camas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-14 victory over Olympia. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Papermakers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thor Brody, who rushed for 142 yards, and also caught a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards Brody has posted since back in September. Another passer making a difference was Ben Druckman, who threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Camas proved: they limited Olympia to a paltry 1.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Josh Webb for the heroic effort on defense: he. Camas' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.8.

Camas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kyler Jacobson and Webb. Webb is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Meanwhile, Skyline made easy work of Arlington on Friday and carried off a 33-13 win. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Eagles are ranked 117th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Camas' victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
