Basketball Recap: Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Takes a Loss

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Verndale Pirates 75-44. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 70-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia]'s loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Verndale, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] will square off against Crosby-Ironton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crosby-Ironton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] likes a good challenge. As for Verndale, they will face off against Bertha-Hewitt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Verndale is facing Bertha-Hewitt at the right time seeing as Bertha-Hewitt is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
