The Eastlake Wolves will welcome the Mead Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Eastlake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-10 win over Newport - Bellevue. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Knights are ranked 161st).

Myles Johnson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 132 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September. Brady Vandermeid was another key player, throwing for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Mead's strategy against Shadle Park on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Panthers blew the Highlanders out of the water with a 52-6 final score. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 28 points or more this season.
