There's no place like home for Hebron, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the North Newton Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-33 victory. The Hawks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 8th (when they won 82-29).

Hebron's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peter Socci led the charge by shooting 53% from the field on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Wynsma, who went 8-for-16 en route to 20 points.

Hebron was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Newton only posted four.

When it comes to explaining why North Newton lost, don't look at Nicholas Bartrom. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ben Levy, who posted nine points.

Hebron's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Newton, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Hebron will square off against Lowell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Newton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 loss against Highland on the 6th.
