Volleyball Recap: Richwoods Comes Up Short

Richwoods lost against Limestone back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Richwoods was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Limestone work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-11.

Richwoods has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Limestone, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 29-1.

Richwoods has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Illinois Valley Central on the 18th. As for Limestone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Geneseo on the 18th.
