St. Augustine Prep has gone a perfect 10-0 against Millville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. St. Augustine Prep will square off against Millville at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Millville will be up against a hot St. Augustine Prep squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. St. Augustine Prep walked away with a 10-7 win over Mainland Regional on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Alex Bersani, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Joey Erace, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Millville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Hammonton 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunderbolts have posted since May 9, 2024.

Garret Shapiro tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Brady Middlekauff was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Mulharan, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Millville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Augustine Prep, their record is now 2-0.

St. Augustine Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Millville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-1. Will St. Augustine Prep repeat their success, or does Millville has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
