Countryside Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from Levi Watson, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Ross, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Academy took a blow against Oak Hall on Monday, falling 95-59. The Cougars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Countryside Christian will need to focus on slowing down Joa Walters, one of several Cornerstone Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jared Owens, who scored 17 points.
