Volleyball Recap: Otis-Bison Comes Up Short

Otis-Bison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Victoria Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Otis-Bison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Victoria work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-15.

Otis-Bison's offense was headlined by Allie Smith and Lily Schwindt, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Player #2 and her 12 assists.

Otis-Bison's defeat dropped their record down to 16-20. As for Victoria, they pushed their record up to 29-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Otis-Bison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victoria, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ellinwood on the 14th.
