Softball Recap: Byng Comes Up Short

Byng suffered their closest loss since September 3, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Plainview Indians by a score of 4-2. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Byng's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Plainview, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byng will face off against Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainview, they will square off against Turner at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
