Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Summit Country Day walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans 69-35. Given the Silver Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Titans are ranked 522nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the fourth in a row for Summit Country Day, bringing their record for this year to 13-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for St. Bernard-Elmwood Place, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Summit Country Day will square off against Stivers School for the Arts on Friday. Stivers School for the Arts knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Summit Country Day likes a good challenge. St. Bernard-Elmwood Place does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
