Recap: Kim/Branson Mustangs vs. Wiley Panthers
The Kim/Branson Mustangs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over Wiley. For Kim/Branson, this counts as revenge for the 69-46 loss Wiley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kim/Branson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Rosas, who scored 13 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rosas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Trotter Watkins, who scored 16 points.
Kim/Branson's win ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Wiley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cheraw the next time they take the court. Kim/Branson will head out to face Cheraw at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wiley will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
