Natalie Chavez, Fairfield's leading scorer, solidified her role on Friday. Chavez did her part (and then some), going 8 of 11 en route to 23 points and six rebounds for the 'W'. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

Chavez and Fairfield will challenge Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mustangs, probably because Chavez had a solid game then too: she went 8 for 12 on her way to 24 points along with five boards and five steals.
