Softball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Annandale

While Annandale put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for New London-Spicer. The Cardinals walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Not much got past Makayla Jenniges, who gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks to keep New London-Spicer off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Madee Larson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Annandale's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for New London-Spicer, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Coming up, Annandale will head out on the road to challenge Kimball at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New London-Spicer, they will take on Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
