Basketball Game Preview: Stevens Falcons vs. Warren Warriors

Stevens hasn't had much luck against Warren recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Stevens Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Warren Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Stevens will bounce into Friday's match after beating Taft, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Stevens strolled past Taft with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-43.

Meanwhile, Warren came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 67-40 victory over Holmes. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Warren's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10. As for Stevens, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Stevens was able to grind out a solid victory over Warren in their previous matchup back in February, winning 60-50. Will Stevens repeat their success, or does Warren have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
