Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins vs. Albemarle School Colts

Having just played yesterday, the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins will head out on the road to face off against the Albemarle School Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech lost 33-8 to Camden County on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Griffins' undefeated start to the season.

Paige James was Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's leading scorer, having posted three points. Elizabeth 'Lindy' Jones held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Albemarle School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Cape Hatteras 61-18 on Friday. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech fell to 2-1. As for Albemarle School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech couldn't quite get it done against Albemarle School when the teams last played back in January as they fell 43-31. Can the Griffins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
