Volleyball Game Preview: Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs vs. Sedgwick County Cougars

Haxtun is 2-8 against Sedgwick County since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Fightin' Bulldogs will host the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Haxtun beat Dayspring Christian Academy 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Fightin' Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Haxtun was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 12-25, 25-14.

Heritage Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Sedgwick County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

Sedgwick County walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-9, 25-19.

Haxtun's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Sedgwick County, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
