Soccer Recap: Tarpon Springs Starts off Right with Win over Clearwater + How To Watch

Tarpon Springs took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Clearwater Tornadoes a 7-0 shutout. Tarpon Springs haven't had any issues with Clearwater recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Tarpon Springs' offense was hitting Clearwater from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Brooke Raeffer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Tarpon Springs will venture away from home to challenge St. Petersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearwater, they will head out to square off against Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
