Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). Everything went their way against the Heights Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.
Lilly Hoffman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hoffman was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season.
In other pitching news, Elianna Burgardt looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Northwest let Kam Stubbs and Tharon Thomas run wild.
