Basketball Recap: Bellmont Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Bellmont proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 43) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eastside Blazers 54-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Bellmont pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Eastside, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 13-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellmont won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bluffton will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Bellmont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eastside, they will host DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
