Basketball Recap: Parker Robinson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Faith Christian over White Plains

If Faith Christian was feeling good fresh off their 69-44 takedown of Gaylesville last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Faith Christian Lions came up short against the White Plains Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 70-48. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Faith Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Parker Robinson, who posted 21 points. With that strong performance, Robinson is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Colton Reese, who put up 13 points.

Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for White Plains, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will face off against Donoho at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season. As for White Plains, they will venture away from home to square off against Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th.
