Volleyball Game Preview: Reagan Bison vs. JC Bermudez Doral Thunder

The Reagan Bison will take on the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Reagan came up short against Varela and fell 3-1. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Varela scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Reagan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rosie Lulo had 21 digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, JC Bermudez Doral also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Miami by a score of 3-1. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Stingarees recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for JC Bermudez Doral, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Reagan skirted past JC Bermudez Doral 3-2 in their previous matchup last Friday. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
