Football Game Preview: Portland Christian vs. Weston-McEwen

On Friday Portland Christian will take on Weston-McEwen at 7:00 PM. Portland Christian come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Portland Christian, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against Nestucca last Friday, falling 6-54. Portland Christian were down by 0-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 67 points the game before, Weston-McEwen faltered in their match last Friday. They were dealt a punishing 8-55 defeat at the hands of Heppner. Weston-McEwen were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-47.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
