Soccer Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Takes a Loss

Eagle Ridge Academy's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Fort Lupton Bluedevils. Eagle Ridge Academy have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Leo Soltero, who's now up to 16 this season.

Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Fort Lupton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Eagle Ridge Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Forge Christian on the 14th. As for Fort Lupton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
