Washington has gone 10-0 against Schlagle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Washington Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Schlagle Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Schlagle likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington duked it out withLee's Summit on Friday. Washington fell 78-70 to Lee's Summit. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (65), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Washington got top-tier performance from Elliott Berry Jr., who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamari Williams, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points.

Meanwhile, Schlagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-35 heartbreaker at the hands of North. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Stallions came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the RedHawks are ranked 329th).

Schlagle's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Washington was able to grind out a solid victory over Schlagle in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 43-33. Will Washington repeat their success, or does Schlagle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
