Football Recap: Lakota West Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakota West can now relate to. They lost to the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders on the road by a 33-14 margin on Friday. The Firebirds have struggled against the Fighting Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakota West's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Archbishop Moeller, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Lakota West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Moeller, they will challenge St. Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bombers will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
