Carter is 10-0 against Roosevelt since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Carter Cowboys will head out to challenge the Roosevelt Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Carter will be strutting in after a victory while Roosevelt will be coming in after a loss.

Carter took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Conrad 40-7.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 74-24 loss at the hands of Wilmer-Hutchins. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1316th, while the Eagles are ranked 530th).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Carter, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Everything came up roses for Carter against Roosevelt when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 52-19 victory. In that contest, Carter amassed a halftime lead of 29-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
