While St. Mary put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for West. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolfpack 53-0. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Wolfpack are ranked 511th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to St. Mary's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Ny'Emah Jefferson and Carissa Amador, who racked up all four sacks between them. Presley DaCruz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for West, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will host Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 12.9, the Bulldogs 12.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for West, they will head out to challenge Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Wolfpack surely won't give up without a fight.
