It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Watauga had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the North Iredell Raiders with a sharp 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Watauga, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit North Iredell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Quincy Honeycutt, Noah Van Werkhoven, and Lucas Hamilton.

Watauga has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up seven goals over those 15 matches. As for North Iredell, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-3.

As of now, neither Watauga nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
