Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-28, which was the final score in Blue Ridge Early College's tilt against Swain County on Friday. Blue Ridge Early College was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.
Despite the loss, Blue Ridge Early College had strong showings from Eric Puskarich, who scored 12 points, and Ethan Henson, who scored 9 points. The game was Puskarich's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Rosman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Blue Ridge Early College, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Keep an eye on the arc in Monday's contest: Rosman have been dynamite from deep this season, having nailed 37.7% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Blue Ridge Early College, though, as they've only made 14.4% of theirs this season. Given Rosman's sizeable advantage in that area, Blue Ridge Early College will need to find a way to close that gap.
