Joliet Central's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Christian Smith

Joliet Central's 15-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Christian Smith. Plainfield Central had no answer to Smith on Friday as he rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns.

Joliet Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Smith and Joliet Central will take on Romeoville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dimarius Matthews Puts an End to Joliet Central's Losing Streak on Friday

Thanks in part to Dimarius Matthews, Joliet Central said goodbye to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season. Matthews did his part (and then some), picking up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 50 yards.
