After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Science Hill, Morristown-Hamblen West was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Morristown-Hamblen West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-9, 25-22, 25-21.

Morristown-Hamblen West's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Cocke County, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown-Hamblen West will welcome Sevier County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cocke County, they will be playing at home against Cosby at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
