Preview: Medford Tech Jaguars vs. Irvington Blue Knights
The Medford Tech Jaguars and the Irvington Blue Knights will round out the year against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at. Medford Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 376 points over their last five games.
Even though Doane Academy scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, Medford Tech still came out on top. Medford Tech snuck past Doane Academy with a 71-65 win.
It was another big night for Robbie Conyer, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Branson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Irvington was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 52-51 to Caldwell.
Medford Tech's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Irvington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
