Jay put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the East Hamilton Hurricanes with points to spare, taking the game 38-23. The 38-point effort marked the Royals' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jay found their leader in sophomore Hattie Locklin, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Adyson Adams, who posted five points.

Several Hurricanes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexa Leonor, who earned seven points.

Jay's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for East Hamilton, they moved to 5-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Jay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-44 win against Crestview on the 14th. As for East Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 34-29 victory against Navarre on the 14th.
