Basketball Recap: College Prep of America Starts Season with Win Against Hinsdale Adventist Academy + How To Watch

College Prep of America took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They secured a 63-58 W over the Hinsdale Adventist Academy Hurricanes. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading College Prep of America to victory were Rayyan Sozzer and Zayd Ansari. Sozzer posted 16 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Ansari earned 16 points and three steals. Those 16 points gave Sozzer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kareem Ismail, who scored eight points.

Coincidentally, College Prep of America and Hinsdale Adventist Academy will both be playing Universal the next time they take the court. The Thunder will host the Stars at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hurricanes will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
