Football Recap: Plains Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Plains had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it five. They took a blow against the Ropes Eagles, falling 60-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cowboys haven't been shut out since back in September.

As for Ropes, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Considering they have won nine matchups by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ropes was led to victory by Jaivyth Cruz and Zayden Pittman. Cruz rushed for 138 yards on only seven carries, while Pittman gained 85 total yards and three touchdowns. Those 138 rushing yards gave Cruz a new career-high.

Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ropes, they will venture away from home to face off against McCamey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Badgers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
