Volleyball Recap: Greater Miami Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Greater Miami Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Edison Private Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-6.

Greater Miami Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Edison Private, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

After both having extra time off, Greater Miami Academy and Redland Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Edison Private, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Avant Garde Academy on the 17th.
