Eastland waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Milledgeville Missiles. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Trixie Carroll paced Eastland's offense, picking up 14 kills. Carroll got some help from Keara Kaus and her 29 assists. Carroll was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Eastland's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Milledgeville, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-2 record.

Eastland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Fulton on the 13th. As for Milledgeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Genoa-Kingston on the 13th.
