Basketball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Denver Christian

Addenbrooke Classical Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Denver Christian Thunder on Tuesday, falling 81-25. The Mustangs have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Denver Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Walker Politte, who shot 83% from the field to rack up 18 points and five steals. Politte is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Cain, who went 6-for-13 en route to 17 points and four steals.

Looking ahead, Addenbrooke Classical Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty Tree Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denver Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-49 win against DSST: College View on the 3rd.
