Volleyball Recap: Hemingford Comes Up Short

Hemingford was the 2-0 winner over Gordon-Rushville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the defeat, Hemingford saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jade Sorensen had 12 assists and seven digs.

Hemingford's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Gordon-Rushville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.

Hemingford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Valentine on the 11th. As for Gordon-Rushville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cozad on the 11th.
