Derek Hymer Game Report: @ Carlmont

While Derek Hymer delivered a dominant effort on Wednesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Sequoia. Hymer pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had since back in April.

Even though Hymer couldn't lead Sequoia over Carlmont, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Hymer's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Ravens' three-game streak of wins on the road.
