Softball Recap: Regis Jesuit Raiders vs. ThunderRidge Grizzlies

Regis Jesuit had lost four straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it five. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ThunderRidge Grizzlies. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Regis Jesuit saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinley Stearns, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

As for ThunderRidge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games.

On ThunderRidge's side, Haley Ortega spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Aubrey Conant was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Lynch, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
